How Much Does Tomorrowland Actually Cost? (From a Festival Expert!)

Tomorrowland stands out as one of my favorite music festivals. It’s thrilling and enjoyable, and I love traveling to different countries for experiences like this one. However, attending isn’t exactly cheap! Before our first visit in 2024, Anthony and I asked ourselves, “How much does Tomorrowland cost?”

To help answer this question, I’ve detailed the various expenses and options to help you plan your budget and understand how much Tomorrowland might cost you.

How much does Tomorrowland cost?

Let’s start with the essential Tomorrowland costs!

Ticket

First and foremost, securing your ticket is a must! Ticket sell out quickly and prices can vary significantly based on your preferences. Here are some estimated ticket price ranges:

  • Single Day Passes: Around €129 or $133
  • Three Day Full Madness Pass: Around €304 or $314
  • Three Day Full Madness Comfort Pass (aka VIP): €530 or $537

If you decide to go big and purchase a Global Journey package (which includes transportation to the festival, overnight accommodations and your festival ticket package) your investment will likely start around €1500 ($1550) and could easily grow to €10.000 ($10,300) depending upon your selections.

Though the Global Journey package is pricey, purchasing it just once grants you access to an exclusive presale for discounted future tickets. It’s worth considering when determining what Tomorrowland will cost for you!

Flight

If you’re in the US, you need to consider flight prices when determining the cost of Tomorrowland.

Flights from the US to Europe can vary significantly, but savvy travelers can uncover great deals. Based on our travel plans, one-way flights were the best option for us. I regularly use flight trackers on platforms like Kayak, Capital One, and Google to secure the best deals.

In 2024, I paid the following:

  • Denver to Amsterdam: $600
  • Belgium to Italy: $100
  • Italy to Denver: $1200 (Yikes!)

My total cost for Tomorrowland flights were $1900 round trip, which was a little on the pricer side. Mostly, that was due to extending our trip to Italy after the festival (but it was totally worth it!)

Accommodations

If you haven’t already picked up on it, there is a pattern here… prices vary and that is no different for your overnight accommodations.

For Tomorrowland, staying onsite at Dreamville is my top choice. It offers the convenience of easy access to and from the festival, keeping you right in the heart of the excitement.

If you choose to stay at Dreamville, you will need to purchase a package including those accommodations. If you’re fond of camping, the Magnificent Greens is the least expensive option. If you want a bougier experience, opt for the nicest accommodations in Montague.

I did explore finding an independent AirBnB for this experience, and quickly learned:

  • Any AirBnB in the area books quickly!
  • These accommodations were far more expensive, some topping off at over $1000 a night!

Last year, we stayed in a Camp2Camp pre-pitched tent as part of our Global Journey package. The total Global Journey package cost us about $2200 per person.

Transportation

If you haven’t already guessed it, I’m a fan of the Global Journey package because it eliminates some logistics and expenses. Extra transportation is one of them. This made the cost of Tomorrowland more predictable for us.

The Global Journey includes your transportation from whichever airport, bus station or train station in Brussels you arrive at and brings you to the festival ground. This is oh so convenient!

If you opt to stay off-site with your own accommodations, you will need to find an Uber, train, or taxi to get you to the festival. The local train will cost you about €10 ($10.50) to get you to Boom. But then you need to get yourself to the festival grounds.

I’ve heard various stories about cabs and Ubers. Some local taxi services shut down all together and I am sure Uber prices can skyrocket. If you choose to stay off-site, come up with a plan and set aside extra cash for to and from transportation, just to be safe.

Spending at Tomorrowland

Something that should not be forgotten figuring out how much Tomorrowland will cost is what you need to spend at the festival itself. Once you’re finally at the festival, traditional cash and credit card payments are not accepted. Instead they use a currency called Pearls.

Pearls

Pearls are the official currency of Tomorrowland and nearly everything you purchase onsite uses this. Your Pearls are tied to your Tomorrowland bracelet and can be pre-loaded via your MyTomorrowland account as well as loaded onsite at designated kiosks.

In 2024, one Pearl was equal to €2 ($2.06).

Tomorrowland bracelets

Food, drinks, groceries, and merchandise are all purchased with Pearls. It was actually pretty nice to keep my wallet locked up in a locker for the weekend, and not need to worry about it.

⭐️ Pro Tip: To make loading Pearls to your bracelet easy, without needing to go to your locker to retrieve your wallet, add your credit card to your Apple Wallet on your phone for easy access.

This took a little bit of getting used to, but I found the system to be pretty easy.

Food and Drink

Overall, food and drinks will very reasonably priced especially for the quality provided. Meals cost about six to ten Pearls each, depending on what you purchases, which translates to about $12 – $20 each. Drinks fell into a similar range of five to nine Pearls each, which is about $10 – $18.

Personally, compared to other festivals and stadiums, I thought these prices were totally worth it.

Merchandise

There are merchandise booths throughout the festival grounds and in Dreamville. I like purchasing some merchandise at festivals, but only if I really like the item and if the quality is solid.

I found merchandise at Tomorrowland to be of great quality. Both my husband and I each purchased a hoodie (a staple for living in Colorado!) and he also purchased a rain jacket.

The hoodies were about $50-$65 each.

The rain jacket was about $75.

The merchandise booths are the only exception to the Pearl currency and you can use you credit card to make a purchase.

Other Costs of Tomorrowland

Along with everything listed above, there are a few more costs of Tomorrowland that are worth considering.

Add On Sales

Tomorrowland will have an “Add On Sales” prior to the festival where you can purchase specific Add On items to your experience. This includes items such as:

  • Lockers in Dreamville (€25 per locker)
  • Lockers in the Festival (€25 per locker)
  • Breakfast Buffets (€20 per person)
  • Speciality Meal Experiences
  • Cases of Beer (€30 per case)
  • Fitness and Yoga Classes (€25 per person)

Last year, we purchased an extra large locker in Dreamville (which was big enough to store multiple laptops, purses and wallets for our group of 6), a case of beer and tickets to yoga. We were hoping to get vouchers for the Breakfast Buffet but these sold out fast! In short, the Add On sale is worth marking your calendars for!

Other Travel Essentials

Whenever I travel, I always like to budget for the other random essential items I will need to purchase to make my experience more comfortable. This is no different with Tomorrowland, and I would even argue is more important if you stay onsite. Here are a few items I purchased in advance:

  • Festival outfits
  • Good walking sneakers
  • Camping supplies
  • Snacks

For me, I usually budget about $200 – $300 or so for these essentials.

In addition, there is a Market in Dreamville where you can purchase anything from groceries to toiletries. There is obviously a markup on these items, but it was convenient for daily necessities like ice and water.

Extra Travel

For me, if I am traveling across the pond, I am going to make the most of it! Our trip last year consisted of five days in Amsterdam, then we headed to Tomorrowland for four days, and then we ended on the Amalfi Coast of Italy for five days. It was a dreamy European vacation!

Buildings in Amsterdam

I intend on doing something similar this year, however we are still working out our plans. With that being said, adding on extra locations before and after the trip will absolutely add on cost. These extra locations added an additional $3000 or so to our trip. For us, it was worth it.

How much does Tomorrowland cost?

So now that I’ve outlined all the top and most prominent costs, let’s figure out how much Tomorrowland costs.

The estimate total cost of Tomorrowland is…

  • Tomorrowland Tickets: $2200
  • Round Trip Flights: $1900
  • Pearls for food, drinks and onsite purchases: $500
  • Add On Sale Items: $100
  • Other Travel Essentials: $300

GRAND TOTAL: $5000

GRAND TOTAL WITH EXTRA TRAVEL: $8000

Final Thoughts and Tips

So yes, the above numbers could the on the expensive side for some. Keep in mind that pricing varies for everything, and it’s important to decide where you want to splurge on Tomorrowland and where you want to keep your purse strings a bit tighter!

All else I can say is that our Tomorrowland experience in 2024 was worth the cost, and we are counting down the days until we go back!

See you in Boom!
