Hi! I’m Kristy—curious traveler, intentional planner, and creator of Rhythm ‘n Route.

Travel has always been more than just movement for me—it’s a way of living. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most meaningful adventures come from the sweet spot between structure and spontaneity. Whether it’s a far-flung trip built around a bucket list concert or a weekend getaway to recharge and reset, I’m all about embracing the moment while staying grounded in what matters most.

Rhythm ‘n Route is my way of helping you build a life that moves with intention. Here, I share travel tips, and practical tools to help you:

  • Live Wildly – lean into spontaneity, adventure, and joy.
  • Travel Well – nourish your body, stay well and travel luxuriously
  • Plan Accordingly – create space for ease and alignment through preparation

My husband, Anthony, and I often plan our travels around concerts and music festivals—it’s how this whole thing started. But what’s kept us going isn’t just the music—it’s the experiences, the people we meet, and the memories we create by saying yes to the adventure.

Red Rocks Amphitheater May 2025

Based in Denver, we’re lucky to have Red Rocks Amphitheater in our backyard (yes, it’s as magical as they say!) and we continue to explore near and far, with intention as our compass.

Whether you’re planning your next trip, looking for wellness travel hacks, or dreaming up a lifestyle that aligns with your values, I’m so glad you’re here.

Thanks for being part of the journey.

Why I Blog

Over the years, Anthony and I have discovered our favorite way to explore the world: through a mix of intentional travel, meaningful experiences, and a little bit of spontaneity. What began as a passion for seeing live music in new places has grown into a lifestyle rooted in adventure, curiosity, and thoughtful planning.

With a background in event planning, I’ve always believed that preparation opens the door for freedom. When the logistics are handled, there’s more room to be present—to enjoy the moment, embrace the unexpected, and truly live wildly. I’ve learned how to balance structure with flexibility, creating travel experiences that are both smooth and soul-filling.

I started this blog to share the tips, tools, and insights I’ve gathered along the way—from smart packing strategies and destination guides to rituals that keep you grounded on the go. Whether you’re heading to a music festival, planning a long-haul getaway, or just dreaming of your next weekend escape, my goal is to help you travel well, move with intention, and design a life that flows with freedom.

Whats in it for you?

Over the years, we’ve picked up so many lessons—how to plan intentional trips, how to pack for comfort and style, how to uncover the best local gems, and yes, how to land those hard-to-get tickets, too. Now, I’m sharing all of it with you—so you can travel smarter, move freely, and create unforgettable moments along the way.

Whether you’re planning your first festival trip or just looking to elevate your next adventure, Rhythm ‘n Route is here to help you live wild, travel well, and plan accordingly.
